After each of our worship services, there are Prayer Companions stationed at the front of
the sanctuary for any who want to share personal concerns or joys with someone
who will pray with them. These prayer requests are held in confidence.

If you have a prayer request for yourself or someone else,
a prayer request box and cards are located at the Welcome Center.

Please know that ALPHA Ministry will pray for your request and hold your prayers in confidence.

Christian Education

Adult Education
January 8 – February 19

Dr. Dempsey is facilitating a book discussion of Marcus Borg’s book Speaking Christian:
Why Christian Words Have Lost Their Meaning and Power and How They Can Be Restored.

Join us on February 26 as we begin a six week Lenten series.
Do you wish you were closer to God?  Many of us feel that way and long to do something about it.  In this study,
we will explore how, as Christians, we can experience intimacy with God, with ourselves, and with others.
Join us as we aim to Live the Good Life Together. Classes will take place in the Cosby Room, Sunday mornings at 8:45 a.m.
All are welcome. You do not have to participate in all of the classes to be a part of this study. Come and see!
Child Care Provided.

Thursday Morning Bible Study
January 12 – February 16
9:30 – 11:00 a.m.
This study covers the book of Galatians, a letter written by Paul encouraging the Christians in Galatia to return to the
freedom that is found in a right relationship with Jesus.  No previous Bible knowledge is
necessary and all questions are good ones. The class is led by Dr. Dempsey.
