    STAINED GLASS WINDOWS

The eighteen stained glass windows that tell the
story of the Bible from creation to Pentecost are a
major part of the symbols in this church. The
starting point is Window #1 in the upper left corner,
and they continue in a counter-clockwise rotation.

The subjects of the windows and the symbols used
to convey the meanings of the subjects were
chosen by our founding pastor, The Reverend John
Talbot. The composition was done by the artisan
who produced the windows. His name is not
known. The descriptions of the windows also were
written by Rev. Talbot

The size of the story part of the windows shown in
this book is 10 x 13 inches. They are centered in
the middle of decorative stained glass creating
a total window size of 23 x 56.

The windows were purchased as memorials.

Paintings copied from these windows hang in the
First Presbyterian Church in Springfield, New
Jersey. The pastor of that church took pictures of
them, and a member of the church painted the
pictures.
