PW’s Circle Bible Study 2011-2012 PW's new Bible study books are now in the office. The cost is $9. If you've never joined a PW Bible study - come visit; check one out. They meet the 3rd Wednesday -morning, noon and evening. Watch the Weekly Tidings and Tidings for more information. This is a great resource for our study on the Beatitudes. You will find a link on the lower right side of the Horizon's web page titled "Blogging the Beatitudes" which is excellent. | Market Day - Thank You! PW would like to thank everyone who supported our Market Day orders this summer. We were able to raise funds for our missions and most importantly donate much needed food items to WINGS. We’ll see you next summer when we will again offer Market Day. |
CHRUCHWIDE GATHERING Churchwide Gathering at Gaylord Palms, Orlando, FL, July 18-22, 2012. Think about attending this wonderful event of PW Worldwide. You have never experienced a worship service until you praise God with 3,500 Presbyterian women!. This four and a half day event offers wonderful seminars, workshops, speakers, and so much more, all designed to “nurture our faith through prayer and Bible Study, to support the mission of the church worldwide, to work for justice and peace, and to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (USA) and witnesses to the promise of God’s kingdom.” Some scholarship money is available. The event is $440 plus room and transportation. We have four women who are planning to go and would love to have a bigger group attend. PW Gathering Dinner and a Chick Flick PW invites you to our February Gathering on February 12, Sunday at 5:00pm. We will meet at a church, eat then watch The Help.
