elected by the congregation on November 6th. We've been working diligently to develop a plan that leads us to completing our task of selecting a called pastor to recommend to the congregation. The first steps of this plan includes pulling together information from the Session, Finance Committee, and U. S. Congregational Life Survey that the congregation participated in for use in developing the Church Information Form (CIF.) The second step in the plan is to schedule meetings with the congregation to discuss the results of the survey and gather additional feedback. We are planning to meet separately with the following groups: Session, the Deacons, and 4 groups of the church's parishes. Then, there will be two additional meetings for those who might have a schedule conflict with any of the previous meetings. An additional element of the plan is to maintain consistent communication as we progress through this process. We will be communicating the PNC’s progress toward finding a called pastor via monthly announcements during Sunday services, in the monthly Tidings, on a poster board in the narthex, and on the PCoP website, www.pcop.us.
