HELP SUPPORT WINGS SHELTER FOR WOMEN AND PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN

Most of you know that WINGS Resale Shop at Rohlwing Road and Northwest Highway was completely
destroyed by fire.  They are in need of our support now more than ever.  Please consider purchasing some
Market Day food items through Presbyterian Women that we will deliver to WINGS to be used in their
shelters for women who have been in abusive situations and are striving to heal and get their lives back
together.
Please click here for more information and the Market Day Order Form.

NOTICE: Parking Lot Repaving Project Update
(See Pics)

7/29/10 - There’s a truck spraying the lot now with the black gooky (technical term) oil to seal the lot in prep for
asphalt, the first coat of which will be applied tomorrow.
***Things seem to be right on schedule and people will
be able to park in the lot on Sunday. According to the project manager, the final coat of asphalt will go down on
Monday and the parking space lines, etc. will be painted soon after. AK

***I plan to come over to PCOP tomorrow afternoon to make certain they have indeed put down asphalt and
will then send out an email to let people know they can park in it on Sunday. AK

There will probably be times during the project when we will need to use alternate parking – Wilson St. to the
west, Church St. to the north, or the Winston Campus lot that is east of the church. As the work moves forward,
we will try to keep you apprised of days when the lot will be unavailable. Thank you for your support.
